In 2010-2011, the four month Creative Classroom Art Staff Development Program involved 12 schools, 4 staff developers, 48 classroom teachers, and 1,440 students. The classroom teachers learn to devise art projects complementary to their students' literacy and core curriculum goals. The program gives these teachers the skills and confidence to integrate art into their daily lessons, and they become adept in the use or art materials.
